Tarini Tripathi

Tarini is a 4th generation Kathak dancer coming from an illustrious line of performing artists . She is also a fitness coach and was the first in India to start sessions of fitness through Kathak (KatFit) combining kathak movement vocabulary and fitness modules)

Duration of each class: 1 hour

Minimum age requirement: Anyone over the age of 13 years

Recording will be available for 30 hrs post the class

Participants will learn choreography in semi-classical styles based on Bharatnatyam and Kathak movements.

Srividya Varchaswi

'When she dances, the world dances with her...' This aptly describes ace danseuse and director Srividya Varchaswi who has on numerous occasions shown how dance can be used as a tool to bridge communities, nations and hearts. Trained in Bharatnatyam, Kathak and Folk forms of India, she received great critical acclaim and popularity for her enactment of Meerabai in Art of Living's production 'MEERA: The Musical', which was also directed by her. In this workshop, for the first time ever, she will teach a choreography to an iconic song from MEERA: The Musical - ' Mohe Laagi Lagan Guru Charanan Ki'.

Sunil Sunkara

Sunil Sunkara is a Kathak dancer who has performed extensively around the world. He holds a Master's degree in Kathak and has been researching the Bhakti traditions of India. While his collaborative work on social media has garnered him millions of views, he is deeply rooted in the Shastric traditions of India.
