Arjun Bharadwaj is a writer and translator, well-versed in Sanskrit, Kannada, English, German, and Greek. With a deep interest in classical literature, art, and philosophy, he is a contributing editor of Prekshaa and is currently studying the comparative aesthetics of classical Greek and Indian arts. He has (co-)translated many books, authored over thirty research articles, enjoys composing poems, plays the flute, writes lyrics for dancers, and also teaches the fundamentals of the Nāṭyaśāstra at many institutions.
This series is dedicated to exploring the stories of the Hindu trinity of gods, Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Through this course, you will delve into the principles and philosophies that each deity embodies and represents. Meet Your Teacher:
Arjun Bhardwaj is an Assistant Professor at Amrita Darshanam, an International Centre for Spiritual Studies in Bangalore.
He is a scholar of philosophy with a Master's Degree in Sanskrit from Karnataka Sanskrit University, Bangalore.
Arjun has also completed a two-year course in Classical Greek Literature and Philosophy from the University of Zurich, Switzerland.
He has extensive knowledge in Indian philosophy, Advaita Vedanta, and Sanskrit literature, grammar, and philosophy and has published over 20 articles on arts, aesthetics, and philosophy for the online journal Prekshaa.
He now brings his knowledge and expertise on the topic to you in this self-paced course.
