The violin plays a profound role in chamber music, orchestral music, opera, ballet and various other folk forms. The violin has also come to be incorporated in Indian music.

About the course
A beginning into the fundamentals of Carnatic Violin taught in an interactive and fun way. The focus is on laying a strong, sound foundation for the commencement of a journey into the music world. The experienced team of WFAC trainers and professionals have curated a 15 module program to complete the curriculum upto the Visharad (graduation) level, as recognised by universities across the globe. These modules are of varying lengths (3 months to 6 months). Once a module is completed, you are eligible to join the next one.

Shri Mathur R Srinidhi
Shri Mathur R Srinidhi is a disciple of Sangeetha Vidya Sagara Vidwan R.R.Keshavamurthy and Vidwan R.N.Thyagarajan. He is a rank holder in both vocal and violin vidwat exams with a Masters in Music from Madras University. An ‘A’ grade artist at All India Radio and Doordarshan, he has been bestowed with several prestigious awards and has had the honour of performing with the stalwarts of the Indian Music galaxy all over the world.
