Madhubani Art Workshop

About the course

Learn a traditional art form of India that has received GI (Geographical Indication) status. These paintings were passed down from generation to generation in the families of the Mithila region, mainly by the women – so you are learning and preserving an age-old art form.

Materials Required

  1. A3 /A4size cartridge sheets/ preferably thick sheet, sketchbook.
  2. Poster colours/ acrylic paints.
  3. 2B soft drawing pencil, eraser, ruler.
  4. Fine tip brushes ranging from 0 to 8.
  5. Waterproof black marker / Artline black/color fine pens 0.4mm

Junior Batch

Duration: 8 sessions

No of classes: 8 classes /month 

Age Group: 7 Yrs – 13 Yrs

Ashwini Krishnan is a professional visual artist with a post graduation in Visual Arts from Chitra Kala Parishath,Bangalore,India. A multiple National award winner, she has exhibited her works both nationally and internationally. She is very passionate about creating as well as teaching art.
