A Journey of Love , Sacrifice and Power

Sita Charitam is India’s grandest live art immersion into the eternal Ramayana, bringing together 513 artists, 30 diverse dance, music, and art forms, and a 4-D experience for the audience. Inspired by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji’s wisdom, this unique performance is scripted in English and draws from over 20 versions of the Ramayana, incorporating songs from multiple indigenous languages.

While the Ramayana has been cherished and narrated across Jambhudweepa (modern-day Southeast Asia), Sita Charitam offers a fresh perspective through Sita’s eyes, addressing the misunderstandings and misrepresentations of her journey in today’s context. Gurudev’s insights transcend the literal (sthool) form of the stories, distilling their wisdom for the modern era. This profound knowledge has been intricately woven into a powerful script that captures Sita’s beauty, strength, resilience, and unconditional love, making Sita Charitam a deeply immersive and transformative experience.
