Nund Rishi (Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani, 1377\u20131440), affectionately called \u201cNund\u201d or \u201cAlamdar-e-Kashmir\u201d, was a revered Kashmiri Sufi saint and poet. Through his profound Shruks (mystical verses), he shaped the composite culture of Kashmir by blending Islamic Sufi thought with local Shaivite traditions. He preached simplicity, compassion, social harmony, and tolerance. His teachings promoted unity between Hindus and Muslims and continue to remain a cornerstone of Kashmir\u2019s syncretic spiritual and cultural heritage.<\/span><\/h2>\n
